Use of Google Forms and Formfacade

We may collect personal information using third-party form providers, including Google Forms and a Google Form Add-on called Formfacade.

- These platforms are used to collect and present information submitted by you.
- Information submitted through these forms may be stored on Google’s servers, which may be located outside New Zealand
- By submitting your information through these forms, you acknowledge that your data may be transferred, processed, and stored overseas.

We take reasonable steps to ensure these providers maintain appropriate privacy and security safeguards.

Sale of personal information

In particular, if Vesta Cover Limited (the “Vendor”) transfers part or all of its insurance-advice business to another New Zealand adviser (to ensure continuity of your service), we may transfer your personal information as necessary to continue servicing your insurance. We will require the new adviser to comply with the Privacy Act and to protect your information (using appropriate confidentiality and security measures). Before any transfer, we will notify you in writing, explaining the purpose of the transfer, who will receive your information, and your rights to access or correct it. You will have the option (where reasonably practicable) to request a different adviser or firm if you prefer not to transfer.

What happens if you don’t provide information

If you do not provide the information we request, we may not be able to:

- Provide insurance advice
- Arrange or manage cover
- Assess the suitability of insurance products

How we store and protect your information

We store personal information in electronic formats only.

We take reasonable steps to protect your information from loss, misuse, unauthorised access, or disclosure, including:

- Secure digital systems

- Use of reputable third-party providers

Accessing and correcting your information
